11th La Biennale Di Venezia ‧ Dark Affair_Exhibition_Projects | KRIS YAO｜ARTECH

The installation proposes to use video footages to extract and give interpretations to our Dark City. Through the recording of four architecture projects, the exhibition wishes to present a more complete picture of the Taiwanese cities at night. The story is told by four sequences presented with front and back projections. The images sometimes are independent, and sometimes combined to form one larger picture. They may also be either right side or reverse side in relation to the viewer, which either gives a more clear or blurry image as to hint at the surface and undercurrent affairs.
