Chuming Hospital is designed as a smart healthcare facility that integrates innovative medical services within a compassionate and therapeutic environment. This is achieved by incorporating elements such as carefully planned circulations, ample natural lighting, considerations for individual privacy, and connections to the external surroundings to provide psychological care to patients and their families.
The building is composed of a 4-story podium and a 15-floor tower. A sunlit green corridor in the lobby and the central atriums on the patient floors introduce abundant natural light into the interior. The double-height surgery waiting area features skylights and a dark blue ceiling, providing a serene atmosphere. The curved windows in the patients' rooms not only bring in light and offer great views, but also function as a "Nook", a private sanctuary corner. On the 5th floor, a designated rest area for the surgical team, with access to the rooftop garden, provides a space for inner tranquility. Furthermore, the use of wood, glass, green plants, and nature-inspired colors contribute to a healthcare environment that is open and welcoming.
