高速铁路新竹站是旅客抵达新竹都会区的门户象征。新竹站的屋顶结构因应新竹地区著名的强大季节风而成型。曲面的屋顶彷佛被风鼓动的风帆,随着视线的拉远,轻盈薄透的量体如同一张对角弯折的纸片,状似舞者充满张力的肢体动线,清晰地表现出建筑师最初的灵感瞬间。
车站主体屋顶为平形四边形弯曲而成的曲面屋顶,屋面由六组巨型空间桁架撑起,两端以轻巧的姿态落地,锚定于车站主体两侧的造型柱上,强化视觉上飞跃动势的气体力学造型。车行轨道与站台空间为露天式设计,解决列车高速通过站台时产生的活塞效应。曲面玻璃帷幕及延伸的石材面墙形塑出对称与椭圆的车站大厅。室内大量采用自然光源,两道弧形墙面分别于北上与南下的入口,以艺术性的创作呈现,“未来”与“传统”两者之间新旧的对话。
荣誉
